How do I get around Dropbox limit? ›

Get more storage space on your Dropbox account. Upgrade your account. Increase your storage quota using referrals bonuses or other promotions. Leave any shared folders that put you over quota.

Dropbox Basic users can be logged into up to three devices at a time. Note: If you're a Basic user, any devices you logged in to before March 2019 will remain on your device list, even if you're logged into more than three.

In the Moneydance menu bar, go to File→Syncing and click the Enable button to enable Dropbox syncing (it will say Disable when Dropbox syncing is enabled). You'll be taken to Dropbox's website to give the Moneydance app permission to access your Dropbox.

You can sync Dropbox files and folders across devices with the Dropbox app. Sign in to your Dropbox account on each device, then add your files and folders to the Dropbox folder on your computer, phone, or tablet. There are three method of syncing supported by Moneydance.. Dropbox Folder, Dropbox Connection and Shared Folder. The sync method Shared Folder can only be used with other computers, it will not sync to mobile devices (phone etc.). With "Shared Folder" Moneydance syncs using a folder that is shared across computers.

How do I prompt Dropbox to sync? ›

To initiate a force sync in Dropbox, you can achieve this by temporarily relocating files out of the Dropbox folder and then moving them back to it. This action prompts Dropbox to synchronize your files and folders once more. Afterward, you can verify whether the content is now up to date.

The app needs to restart—if an error has caused the app to stop syncing, closing the app and reopening it may resolve the issue. The app should be reinstalled—there may be an issue with your installation of the Dropbox desktop app, uninstall and reinstall the app to see if it resolves the error.

With viewer info, you can see if someone is currently looking at a file. Depending on the Dropbox plan you have, you may also be able to see when someone last viewed a file.
