What is the new fee for i-765? ›

The new Form I-765 filing fee for the online USCIS application will be $470. Spring 2024 graduates planning to apply for Post-OPT this semester are encouraged to submit their application to USCIS before April 1st.

1, 2024, if the filing fee is not exempt, for Form I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, the filing fee will generally increase to $1,440. Children under the age of 14, who file adjustment applications concurrently with their parents, will be eligible for a reduced fee of $950.

The new base Form I-129 filing fee for each classification is set forth in the chart above. The H-1B petition filing fee increases to $780, from $460, a 70% increase. The L-1 petition filing fee will now be $1,385, up from $460 – a 201% increase. E and TN petitions will see a 121% increase, to $1,015, up from $460.

Effective February 26, 2024, premium processing fees will be adjusted to reflect inflationary increases from June 2021 through June 2023. Premium processing fees will increase from $2,500 to $2,805; from $1,750 to $1,965; and from $1,500 to $1,685.

If you are required to pay a filing fee for Form I-765, you may be eligible for a fee waiver. If you would like to request a fee waiver, you must complete and file Form I-912, Request for Fee Waiver, with your Form I-765.

N-600 Cost

The fee to file Form N-600 is $1385. The fee will be waived if you are a member or veteran of the U.S. armed forces, but not if you are filing as an adopted child or as a child of a veteran or member of the U.S. armed forces.

However, if you file Form I-485 after April 1, 2024, you must pay additional fees to file Form I-765 or Form I-131, as listed on our Fee Schedule page. In either case, you may submit these forms together.
