Do you remember the Bacon Cheddar Bombs I made a while ago? When I'm at work, I like to keep a little sheet of paper beside my desk so I can write down recipe ideas whenever one pops up in my head. Like this one. I wanted to create a dessert "bomb" that was completely the opposite of a savory bomb.

Why not stuff some Hershey's chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs into a biscuit and bake/fry it?? Then, I took some Nutella and drizzled it all over the bombs and dusted them with powdered sugar.

2 Ingredient Dough

If you haven’t worked with 2 ingredient dough before it can be a tricky dough to work with. It is equal parts Greek yogurt and flour.

Flour your rolling pin to help with sticking. Place the dough in the fridge for up to an hour. The dough will become a little harder but it will be easier to work with.

Chocolate

I use a Hershey’s Miniature Dark chocolate bar because it fits perfect in the center of the dough. Chocolate chips can be used as well.

How to make S’more Bombs

See and print the full recipe below.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix the greek yogurt and self-rising flour together in a bowl until well combined. Cut the dough into 2 equal pieces and then cut one half of the dough into 8.
  3. Using your hands and flatten the dough or roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
  4. In the center of the dough, place 1 half of the Hershey square and 1 marshmallow. Fold the dough in so that it's shaped like a ball and make sure it's sealed shut.
  5. Bake the bomb in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Combine powdered sugar and milk in a bowl and stir until well combined. If the glaze is still thick at a little milk at a time until it is nice and smooth. Drizzle over top of the S'more Bombs.
  7. Serving size: 1 bomb.

Two ingredient dough is tough to work with if you've never had it before because it is a sticky dough. I always stick mine in the fridge for a bit before handing it.

  2. Regina says

My dough was too sticky. I ended up making them in a muffin tin. Even in the little paper cups they had to be eaten with a fork because they stuck to the sides. Is there something I can do to make it more doughy?

  3. Jenna says

Yes, those are mini marshmallows. I have that listed in the ingredients list. That chocolate should be fine as well but the points might come out different. Thanks!

  4. Sheena says

Could I use milk chocolate chips instead? And are the marshmallows minis? I don’t think I will be able to find the Hersey chocolate bars as easily as just throwing in maybe 4/5 chocolate chips. Thoughts?

  5. Jenna says

    Eat them? Recipe fixed.

  6. Barbara says

Color me confused. The recipe seems to make 16 bombs, right? 1/2 a mini-chocolate in each, as well as 1 mini marshmallow, right? Then what about the extra 8 marshmallows? Please clarify your instructions.

  7. Jenna says

For this recipe, the dough acts as the graham cracker.

  8. Theresa says

Where’s the graham cracker? I wonder if you could roll the bombs in crushed graham as soon as they come out of the oven?
