Idk why people are saying this doesnt work… I live in south Louisiana so you know we have bugs, anyways, this literally attracts anything with wings. I put it right next to my kitchen garbage can. I recommend to anyone! If it doesnt work either you have genetically modified house flys that are colored blind or you have it in the wrong location.

I put this in my kitchen to control fruit flys and gnats. I didn't have a fly problem when I got the trap and plugged it in, but when i checked it a week later there were many flys in the trap so its doing its job!

Hasn’t caught a thing

It’s been used per the instructions for 4 days and no flies or moths have been trapped. My old school fly swatter beats this piece of crap by a mile. Waste of money

It works so well

This product is amazing! It’s so simple to set up but extremely effective. I got one for every room in my house. I didn’t even know I had that many bugs in the house!! It’s so gross to see but very satisfying knowing that my house is clear of any flying bugs. The sticky glue card stays sticky for a very long time - we essentially just swap it out when we think there’s no more space for more bugs. Highly recommend!

These are SO great!!

I love these!! And they *totally* work. Flies are one thing and they work great for that, but you will be amazed at the number of tiny bugs that they catch that you DON'T see come into your house. I have a great room with one near the guest bedroom hallway and one in the dining area (front & back). The design is nice & sleek and they kind of double as nightlights. You can get refill packs of sticky cards which I recommend.

EXCEEDED my expectations

It’s not often that a product exceeds my expectations enough to give me the itch to go out of my way to leave a review. But if you have house flies, fruit gnats, pantry moths, etc just go ahead and spend the $17. Totally effortless and zero chemicals 🙌I have 14 indoor plants on our ganging above my kitchen sink window. We also compost regularly with a countertop compost bin always present. Flying insects are inevitable. This product does the job silently and with low-light.

Love these bug traps

I have used these traps for over a year, especially during summer months. This year the gnats and flies seem to be worse than ever. I think it has to do with the recent storms and power outages in my area. It did seem to take a little longer, just because there were so many. I would invest in putting one in each room, especially where there is food or moisture, like the kitchen and bathroom. Only downside is that the sticky trap refills can get expensive.

Not worth the money at all

I recently have had a fruit fly problem and was really hoping this would help but the flies don’t want anything to do with the light. I put both a sticky trap and a new refill on the safer home light the same day and time and still caught more with my cheap sticky trap

These work great!!

Device gives off a little bit of a blue light. We put one in each of the bedrooms and the kitchen and all of them have worked really well. My husband smokes meats on his barbecue, and during the summer we have tons of flies. These things work great! Highly recommend.

It works!

I wasnt sure how well it would work, but after two weeks the sticky pad was filled with little insects. Fruit flies, flies, mosquitos, carpet beetles, etc.

The product works well to attract and capture gnats, fruit flies, a a few other flying insects. I have only had the safer home trap for about a week and will need to switch the sticky pap that traps the insects. I did not know these little pesty bugs (insects) were that prevalent in my house. Safer Home traps are the way to go pest free safely. I would recommend!

Works like it says it will

This product does what it says, attracts and catches gnats and other flying insects. I put one in my garage and one near the kitchen and after one week. The one in the garage was full of gnats. This has really help reduce the number of gnats that escape into my house. This product is worth the buy.

Love these!

I have 4 of these. 3 in my house and I just put one in my office at work. Most of the outlets in my house are lower and I have no issues catching insects. FYI, if you have these in a room that has lights on 24/7 the bugs aren't going to be drawn to it. I keep one in the kitchen and the others are near windows. I catch all sorts of flying insects. I highly recommend these! The pic is of the one I just put in at work. Overnight I caught all of those.

Fly Trap

I was skeptical that this wouldn't work, but it actually does. The UV LED light makes it look so nice at night. I put it in my living room, but I may end up buying more to put around the house.

Love it!

This product took care of my fruit flies issue. Flying insects get attracted to the light and get stuck in the sticky back. Great to be placed in kitchen areas where fruits and other non-refrigerated items are kept. However, it works better when the lights are kept off/down or at night.

Don’t waste your time or your money

These traps are horrible and anyone who says they aren’t is either paid or delusional. There is nothing on here to attract flying insects to this device aside from a light. For this reason, it catches nothing during the daytime. I’m going to assume because during this time the light is barely noticeable. Even with this device up 2 weeks I’ve still spent the majority of my day swatting flies with my electric swatter.

Bought 1 and came back for 3 more

We have plants and fruits and vegetables in our house and the knat situation is usually not this bad but … this year it’s like they are everywhere. They drive me INSANE. I bought one of these and overnight the sticky trap had caught more than I even thought were in the house! Bought anotherThen bought two more.The picture is of the two new ones I JUST PUT UP last night. Less than 24 hours and that’s how many got caught. Super ewww I know but better in the trap than roaming around my room and face.

Really surprising results

Many reviews here left some doubt on “How well,” the Safer trap works. We have potted plants and the gnats were out of control. Serious worker in this trap. Sticky trap only lasts a few days due to how many flies have been trapped! Well worth the cost, and a sweet “Nite lite” to boot!

NO HONEY OR VINEGAR NECESSARY

THIS WILL CATCH YOUR FLIES! As long as you follow the directions and don’t have a competing light source nearby, this little trinket will be your LIFESAVER. I caught all of these flies in 8 days. After seeing how well it worked, I bought 5 more!!My only qualm is the price.

Helps with the flies

We have an occasional problem with flies in the house, and I wondered if the Safer Brand Safer Home Indoor Plug-In Fly Trap would work. It helps in attracting flies and other flying critters that are attracted to its light. Note that it emits a constant light that is an effective night light if you want one, or an annoyance if you don't want it, so install it where the light won't bother you. I keep mine in the kitchen, so it can also catch food moths if any come in. It also stick out from the plug a ways, so don't put it in a traffic area where it will be bumped into. It has a sticky surface which needs to be replaced when it's full of bugs or every few weeks (replacements need to be purchased separately).
