A social experiment exposing the dangers of the internet has revealed just how easy it is for a predator to lure an innocent child to potential harm.
But perhaps more shocking is the fact that the children involved in the experiment had already been made aware of the dangers by their parents and still fell into the trap.
YouTube star Coby Persin, 21, previously posed as a 15-year-old boy and lured teenage girls into potentially harmful situations, with the permission of their parent, to expose internet dangers.

The video was viewed 40 million times, and curious to see whether the powerful message had been received, Coby decided to repeat the experiment but with boys in the New York area.
Posing as 15-year-old Amanda Green, Coby friend-requested three teenage boys with the permission of their parents and got to work messaging them all separately.

'Jonathan, are you freaking kidding me? Do you even know where you are right now? You could have been killed,' says the youngster's mother.
She goes on: 'Who is this girl Amanda you're talking about? Who is she?' and John replies by saying that he met her on Facebook yesterday.
The mother than references Coby's previous video and questions her son's decision to ignore it, but he is unable to give her an answer.

This time Coby and the boy's real father decide to give him a little fright in order to drum home the message and pull him into the vehicle while wearing masks.
The dad then reveals himself and questions his son's foolish decision to go behind his back and put himself in grave danger.

However, much to the youngster's shock a man comes down the stairs and locks the front door before another appears from the bathroom.
They surround the 12-year-old who appears to be genuinely frightened before his mother comes into the room and screams in fury.

Despite having only spoken to the Facebook friend 24 hours ago, Thomas waited for her to emerge from the shower but was confronted by two men
The video concludes with the emotional mother breaking down in front of her son and pulling him in for a hug while explaining that she could have lost him.
Coby finishes by asking viewers to share the content and help bring attention to the dangers of social media so that children can learn once and for all.
Since being posted to YouTube the powerful clip has received five million views and numerous comments from shocked individuals.
