AC Odyssey has an Arena, a tough one. This Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena Guide will introduce you to the basics of the Arena including details on where to find it, the enemies you can encounter and best of all, the Legendary rewards you receive for emerging victorious.
The Arena in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey can be found on Pirate Point on Pephka. It’s the island in the furthest South Eastern corner of the map. It’s a long journey from anywhere, but the spoils that await make it worthwhile. Once you defeat your first mercenary, you will receive an invitation to the Arena, which makes it a little easier to find the place.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena Guide
The AC Odyssey Arena is a little more basic compared to the on in Origins. When you arrive there’s a Blacksmith nearby that you can use to tweak and customize your gear. There is no room for Assassinations here and very little room for Hunter. If you want to take your runs through the Arena seriously, you need to ensure you have as much Warrior damage as possible. Supporting that with strong armor and elemental damage is also a very good idea.
The Arena is simple. You choose an opponent to fight and the battle begins. Depending on whether or not it’s an actual combatant or mercenary, you will either head straight into the 1v1 fight or have to battle waves of enemies first, the latter is far more common.
There are 5 different opponents you can choose from, you can also choose to fight any mercenaries that are at the arena at the time. The enemy list is as follows:
- Klaudios, The King Of Bandits (level 22)
- Belos, Beast of Sparta (level 29)
- Evanthe, The Huntress (level 36)
- Titos, The Rock Of Athens (Level 43)
- Vasilis, The King Of The Arena (level 50)
It’s a good idea to remember that although you may be able to take down a single strong foe at that level, you will have to fight through 3-4 waves of similarly leveled enemies first.
There are a number of traps and such in the Arena, although they are all easily avoided. Using the Spartan Kick can force enemies into the traps but the damage is usually quite poor, so focus on dealing damage in the more traditional sense.
For each enemy that you defeat, you will receive a single piece of Legendary Armor. Each is part of the Arena Fighter’s set, a set that specialized on Warrior Damage and Overpower Abilities. The set bonus provides a +10% Health Restored with Overpowered Abilities bonus, a huge advantage in Warrior style battles.
